Mauricio Quintana, President and CEO

Mauricio Quintana joined Clipper Windpower as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as an executive member of its Board of Directors effective March 8, 2010. Prior to employment at Clipper, he served as Director, Corporate Strategy and Development at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he focused on mergers and acquisitions mostly in the renewable energy sector. Prior to UTC, Mr. Quintana was COO at Stone Suppliers, a division of Cosentino USA. Previously, he spent several years at Booz Allen Hamilton where he focused on strategy and operations improvement assignments for energy and high tech clients, including the International Space Station at NASA. His prior experience also includes engineering management and technical positions with S&B Technical Products, Inc. and BLH Electronics.

Mr. Quintana holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica, and has been awarded several U.S. patents.
