Clipper was founded on the belief that wind power can and should play a vital role in the transition to clean, sustainable energy in the United States.

Wind is an abundant, free resource that, when harnessed by turbines, can generate massive amounts of electricity. Unlike power plants that use fossil fuels like natural gas or coal, wind turbines produce no carbon dioxide (CO₂) or other greenhouse gases during operation, helping to reduce air pollution and combat climate change. Wind turbines don’t require water for cooling, and the materials and energy required to manufacture and install them are offset within months to a couple of years of operation.
